X'TREME power line has a large diameter copper wire that is molded in the middle of a conductive plastic sheath for high conductivity. The wire strength is supported with a high quality woven fabric which increases the overall X'TREME power line strength. The outer sheath is constructed of a conductive polymer for maximum conductivity and ensuring electrical contact to the surface. The conductive plastic sheath protects the copper wire against corrosion caused by rain, salt, pollution, acid rain etc. It is a known fact that copper carries power much better than steel. The problem has always been that when copper is exposed to the elements, even when you tin coat copper, it starts to corrode, break down and form hot spots. X'TREME copper line is completely covered by the outer sheath.
