Electric Fence Installation

End and corner posts
Use treated wood, 4 - 5 inch round or square, 7 to 8 feet long. A 40 pound bag of ready mix cement is recommended for each post hole at ends and corners.
Line posts
- your choice of post: vinyl, metal t-post, wood (3 - 4 inch diameter)
- space posts 12 to 16 feet apart
- cement not required
Line installation
Walk line out feeding through insulators on posts. We recommend at corner posts to feed line through insultube that has been cut to length and attach with fence staples. Insultube is also used at end posts - feed the line through and bring it back to itself - pull hand tight - secure with connector. An alternative to using insultube at ends and corners is to use a screw-in ring insulator or the new corner/end post insulator.
